1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

Starting and nurturing my own fashion brand. It is at the nascent stage, however; I am exceedingly excited that it has taken flight and hopeful for the future potential. I also got some art institutions reaching out to me and featuring some of my works in some publications.

2) THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

Is the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost all exhibitions and residencies that I was scheduled to participate in were cancelled. Hopefully, I get the opportunity, come next year.

3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

To keep doing what I know to do best; smiling. I envision a world full of love for humanity irrespective of how anyone identifies, whether black, white, blue, indigo, trans, queer, tri etc. We should first see ourselves as humans before any other thing.

4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

My biggest worry is the overgrowing number of irresponsibility’s among some youth of today, the uncontrolled increase in racial conflicts and gender bias in some institutions and homes.

5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE?

This is a very tight one I must say, but all the same, my mother is one woman I admire so much. I also have some good friends who are very supportive, and I love and admire Stephanie Benson as well.

.

.

6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN?

I would like to tell other women that, they are more than they think and can do. They can achieve whatever they set their minds on; the power to do lies within them.

.

.

7) THE WORLD HAS BEEN CHANGING DRAMATICALLY IN RECENT MONTHS, WHAT ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT THE MOST?

I am most concerned about the homeless and vulnerable in our society. This pandemic has really taught us about the vulnerability of humanity. It’s not just about ourselves but about the wellbeing of all persons.
