1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

Last year, I started with my teaching career. I have aspired to be a teacher since I was in 6th grade. And finally, I was in a classroom surrounded by kids, doing something I love. My heart is full whenever I'm teaching. I can’t wait for the pandemic to end and meet my students again.

2) THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

That's a tough one to answer. Nothing as such, but it would only be a few moments whenever I've lost faith in myself. This happens with me when people around me doubt my capabilities. I’m still working on brining that self-confidence when people's opinion would not make me doubt myself.

3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

First, I wish for this pandemic to end. Yes, that's a big wish. But I'm also hopeful that we all will be out, happy and enjoying ourselves very soon. Second, I wish to become a better version of myself, create more resources and help others in any way possible.

4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

I strongly fear the economic recession brought into the world due to Corona Virus. People have already started losing their jobs. I worry about the long term impacts of this pandemic.

5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE?

Well there are many women I admire but I would say, Arundhati Roy. She is an Indian author and an environmental activist. From the moment I finished reading her book 'A God of Small Things', I fell in love with her. Actually, I love all the independent women and the list includes my mother too.

6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN?

No one is perfect. We all need to start work with the idea that we’re going to learn every day. Just remember that you are talented and you are irreplaceable. <3
