1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS? My film R.V, about the current threat to women's reproductive rights, gave a woman (who was a total stranger to me) the courage to share her personal abortion story for the very first time. My source of financial stability dropped out from under me shortly after I broke up with someone I loved. Both the job & the ex were sources of toxicity, so it’s ultimately a blessing, but debilitating nonetheless. . . 3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE? I have had support from extremely generous family & friends during a challenging time. My biggest wish is to pay it forward. . . 4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE? On a personal level my worry is that as my business grows, my creative career will stall. On a global level I worry about a second term for Voldemort. . . 5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE? I admire Lady Gaga. The career she's built for herself is pretty impressive. She puts it all out there, is not afraid to be "ugly," and truly claims her success. She’s making her dreams come true! . . 6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN? It's our time.
