1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

I was able to meet and photograph Zak Williams, Robin Williams son, who was a Face in the Faces of Fortitude project and we had such a special discussion about loss and grief and I felt honored he chose to be in my project.

2) THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

I lost a friend who I considered very close to me, and I am still not over it, though I am trying to be.

3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

I really hope to NAIL my TEDx which is on Sept 7th in Ohio.

4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

I hope to be able to sustain this project, as its in a sensitive transitional period that is making it difficult to keep it going.

5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE?

The writer Elizabeth Gilbert. I read Big Magic while I was in the writing process of my TEDx talk and its truly one of the reasons I feel like its one of the best things I have ever written plus now I actually call myself a writer. She comes from a place of such fallibility but also shows you the creative process as an energy that either you are open for or you aren't. Learning that it couldn't be forced but rather absorbed or it will pass over you, was a huge tool for me to reach the finish line.

6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN?

Don’t be afraid to make moves that seem scary, because its in those moments that you truly grow.
