1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

Finding kindred souls in situations I’d never expected to. People I had just met over the course of an evening or a 2-days business training gave me the impression they’d known me for ages. No matter their age, how they were raised or how big their bank accounts are. What truly matters is a differentiated view on life and world affairs, a good sense of humour and growth mindset.

2) THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

Realizing how old friendships did not survive changes in life that affect who you are, how you perceive the world around you and what you need in your relationships. Accepting your own transition and learning to let go.

.

.

3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

For my personal future: to stay healthy and loved (for me and my loved ones), to be shaped by freethinkers with open hearts who go through life with curious eyes and have the courage to stand up for liberty and humanity.

For my professional life: to successfully build up my own business and be able to shape our future economy/ working world by establishing trust as a significant index of success (KPI).

.

4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

That social inequality, intolerance and power monopolies increase populistic and right wing movements which are a tremendous risk for our democracies and liberal worlds where free speech, diversity and separation of power are some of our greatest goods.

5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE?

6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN?

Go on your own hero’s journey and ask yourself: why am I who I am, what is my inner calling in this world and allow yourself to be guided by it.

A few more questions about the current situation (covid-19, lockdown, black lives matter protests, politics, finances, mental health, health, and so much more):

7) THE WORLD HAS BEEN CHANGING DRAMATICALLY IN RECENT MONTHS, HOW ARE YOU COPING?

It was interesting to observe myself passing through the typical change curve.

First the denial, then a break down/ depression when the realisation sank in, followed by recovery, and a back-loop to the stage of acceptance, 2nd break down, deeper recovery. Integrating virtual consultancy products into my work flow as the „new normal“.

Looking back, it was tough. It was exhausting, but it was a one of the best learning journeys to a deeper understanding of what it means for clients going through transition processes.

.

.

8) WHICH CHANGE HAS AFFECTED YOU THE MOST / HAD THE BIGGEST IMPACT ON YOU PERSONALLY?

Social distancing. Not being able to meet my friends and family on a regular basis. No hugging. No physical contact. Accepting to see each other with 1.5m distance as the new normal and how this affects our mental and emotional well-being.

.

.

9) WHAT ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT THE MOST?

The political and economical development in the world and how our democracies will deal with this tense and complex situation: its economical uncertainty, social fields and society shift to the right.

For me personally as someone who is self-employed and runs their own business, I am a little bit anxious about the resilience of the economy and the impact another disruption, (2nd wave) will have on companies’ capabilities to afford external advisory services, that I provide.
