1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

The best thing would probably be getting to visit Europe with my family. We got to see Zurich, Prague, and Vienna, and it was absolutely breathtaking. It made me realize how much beauty there is in the world and how much I have left to explore and experience.

2) THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?

Getting rejected from a bunch of summer programs, which really put me down for a while, especially because I put a lot of time and effort into my applications. But I’m happy to say I’ve gotten back up and realized that a few failures don’t define my success as a person!

3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

I wish for a greater push for gender equality in our society and a brighter, more egalitarian future for us all.

.

4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE?

My biggest worry is college and whether or not I’ll get accepted into my dream school.

.

.

5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE?

I really admire Kinsale Hueston @kinsalehues because she’s an incredibly talented and driven activist, poet, and overall amazing person that I really look up to.

6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN?

Don’t give in to society’s standards or expectations for who you should be, or what you should look or act like; you’re absolutely perfect just the way you are.
