1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS? I finished my film and fell in love. Happened at the same time. . . 2) THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS? The downside of the above mentioned: I live more, work less, and constantly feel guilty about it. Oh, and I broke my ankle, but that’s ok. . . 3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE? That we make an end to animal exploitation and factory farming – for the sake of us, the animals and the environment. . . 4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE? Climate change, overpopulation, waste of water/ plastic/ resources/ energy, the rise of right wing parties, you name it … But I try to rather turn these worries into action – on my little scale and as far as I can. We humans were capable of creating this mess, and we are also capable of sorting it out. . . 5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE? Jane Goodall. And all the “Chicks on Boards” out there. . . 6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN? Hold together and keep surfing, sisters! Push each other into the waves that you wouldn’t dare to take on your own.
