1) THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS? Last year was good to me. I met my boyfriend Fox in April. I had the busiest, most rewarding work year and my friends and family were all healthy and mostly happy. What’s not to like? . . 2) THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS? I’m an agoraphobic, which means that being in enclosed situations without having control over when and how to leave can be problematic for me. Corona and the lockdown makes me very anxious so I’m working on maintaining routines, eating healthy, and moving my body regularly. . . 3) YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE NEAR FUTURE? Although at this point it doesn’t seem realistic I’m still hopeful that we will get the Corona crisis under control soon, minimize economical damages and spend the loveliest summer hugging each other. Other than that my longterm goal is of course reaching parity in economy, politics and society. That’s what we work for daily at EDITION F. . . 4) YOUR BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE NEAR FUTURE? I’ve been worried about the rise of the (far) right for years. In these times I hope that we as a society can resist the urge to act on our fears and will still stand for human rights, an open society and democratic values. . . 5) A CONTEMPORARY WOMAN YOU CURRENTLY ADMIRE? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for standing up to Trump and doing it so eloquently. Aminata Touré for representing a new age of politicians, being passionate about people, approachable and super smart. And although I’ve never voted for her or her party, Angela Merkel for being Angie. . . 6) A ONE-SENTENCE MESSAGE TO OTHER WOMEN? We’ve been polite, sensitive, and supposedly respectful long enough. Let’s get loud!
